By signing up for an NMC Challenge Event, you agree to the following terms and conditions.
1. Registration
Please make sure the information you provide when signing up is correct. Some events may also require you to register directly with the event organiser and meet their entry requirements.
2. Fundraising Targets
All NMC Challenge Events have a mandatory fundraising target, which will be clearly stated on the event page before you sign up.
By registering, you agree to meet the fundraising target for your chosen challenge. If you’re struggling to reach your target, please contact the NMC Fundraising Team as soon as possible to discuss this.
If you do not reach your target, NMC will contact you to discuss the outstanding amount and what happens next.
3. Fundraising
All money raised must be passed to NMC in line with the fundraising guidance provided.
Please make sure your fundraising is honest and that any information you share about NMC and its work is accurate. If you need help with fundraising or using NMC’s name and logo, please get in touch with the team.
4. Health and Safety
You are responsible for making sure you are prepared for your chosen challenge and following the event organiser’s rules and safety guidance.
If you feel unwell or are unable to continue safely, you should stop and seek help.
Please be aware that taking part in physical challenges carries some risk.
5. Fees and Expenses
Any event entry fees or other costs will be explained before you sign up.
Unless stated otherwise, you are responsible for your own travel, accommodation, training and other personal expenses. Refunds and changes to event entries will follow the event organiser’s terms and conditions.
6. Cancellations and Withdrawals
If you can no longer take part, please let NMC know as soon as possible.
If an event is cancelled, postponed or changed, the event organiser will provide information about your entry.
If you withdraw or do not complete your fundraising target, please contact NMC to discuss your circumstances and any outstanding commitments.
7. Photographs and Promotional Materials
During your challenge, we may ask you to share photographs of your training, the event itself or your finish-line moment.
With your permission, NMC may use these photographs on its website, social media, newsletters and other promotional materials to raise awareness of the Centre and its work.
Please only share photographs you have permission to use. If other people appear in your photos, make sure you have their permission before sending them to us for promotional use.
If you have any questions about how your photographs may be used, or would like to withdraw permission for future use, please contact NMC.
8. Personal Information
NMC will use your information to manage your registration, contact you about your challenge and support your fundraising.
9. Changes to These Terms
NMC may update these terms when necessary. Any important changes affecting your participation will be communicated where appropriate.
