NMC Design+Print Senior Designer, Jake, has been named the winner of the Rising Star Award at the Kaleidoscope Awards!
Hosted by Storyhouse in Chester, the Kaleidoscope Awards celebrate the talents and achievements of people with disabilities from across Chester, Cheshire, Wirral and North Wales.
The Rising Star Award honours an individual who has demonstrated growth within their area of employment. Chosen from many nominees from across the region, Jake was recognised not only for his development in the graphic design industry, but also for his dedication to advocating for and supporting other creatives with disabilities.
Jake said:
‘I’m so grateful to receive this Kaleidoscope Rising Star award. To see my value and progress over the years being recognised makes me feel incredibly proud of my achievements.
This would not be possible without the guidance of my team leaders at NMC, who all saw my ability and potential all those years ago.
