We’re proud to be taking part in Get Online Week; an annual campaign helping everyone make the most of the digital world.

We have the following activities planned for the week.
- Monday 20th October 1 – 3pm: Digital Design Day: Explore design creatively in the makerspace using a range of digital design tools and techniques. The theme for this month is Halloween haberdashery.
- Tuesday 21st October from 10:30am: Makerspace morning: Come along and find out more about our Makerspace where we make accessible tech together! Join us for sewing, textiles, electronics, vinyl cutting, laser cutting, engraving and 3D printing.
- Wednesday 22nd October 11:30am: Physio-led exercise class on Zoom. If you’d like to join in but don’t know how to use Zoom, please get in touch with us at digitalskills@nmcentre.com and we can help.
- Thursday 23rd October 11am – 2pm: Assistive Technology workshop. Are you finding it physically difficult to use a computer? There are tools and devices that can help. We’ll introduce you to software such as text-to-speech and voice recognition software. Come and try out a game controller prototype – Assistive technology that makes exercise fun and more enjoyable. We also have a range of ergonomic keyboards and mice for you to try.
- Friday 24th October 11am – 2pm: Digitals Skills drop in session. Session for anyone who needs help getting online? Drop in and find out how we can support you.
