Woodturning Fundraiser for NMC!

Paul Williams has been practicing the art of woodturning for more than 24 years and from his home workshop in Ellesmere Port has created some beautiful and unique items.

In January Paul decided to take on a challenge to 'turn' a bowl each week and sell them in aid of the NeuroMuscular Centre!

Paul said: "The NMC is special charity to me. I have delivered a couple of wood turning demo at their Shed Club and have been very impressed with the range of activities they provide."

"Several people close to me are affected by muscular dystrophy and I'm always inspired by their enthusiasm, motivation and 'can do' attitude. The Centre in Winsford epitomises that too."

Woodturning is a skilled craft using a lathe and handheld tools to create a symmetrical shape from a section of wood, and the bowls created over the next year will be available to purchase via the link below.
