Connect Up
For further information and join in with the amazing community spirit that is so rich at NMC, please email Elly at connectup@nmcentre.com
or call 01606 860911.
NeuroMuscular Centre is not building or just a place for physiotherapy treatment... it is a community. Connect Up represents the best of this: connection, support and friendship.
We have a wide range of activities and specialist groups available to all our NMC community, including anyone with a neuromuscular condition, their family, friends and carers.
At NMC there is something for everyone. If you would like to meet new people, learn a new skill, join in with arts and crafts, share your experiences or perhaps join us for a cup of tea, cake and a chat then you will be very welcome.
We are always open to trying new ideas. Please get in touch if you would like to volunteer your time or share your skills.
Please click here for a timetable of our regular activities.
We also have a closed NMC Facebook Group called 'NMC Online with Connect Up'.

NMC Connect Up
Through Connect Up, the NMC community has enjoyed a varied programme of events at the centre and further afield. These have included craft workshops, woodturning demonstrations, ukulele lessons, fishing days, canal trips, museum visits and 'Wheel and Wander' trips around Sefton Park, Telford, Morecambe, Trentham and RHS Bridgewater.
NMC has a programme of Saturday events which is an opportunity for anyone from our NMC community, family and friends to visit the Centre outside of our usual opening hours. During these events bookable gym sessions are available. We have hosted a Mobility Roadshow and Fun Day, an Exercise Day led by the NMC Therapies team, Afternoon Teas, an Art Exhibition Open Day with a clay workshop, 3D printing, a Holiday Roadshow and a Housing Event.

If you have a library card there is the option to 'borrow' an e-book from your local library for 2-3 weeks. All library services are arranging this slightly differently.
Please feel free to join us. If you can't make it to the meeting but would still like to be involved you can always e-mail any thoughts to share with the group.
